AKron Half Marathon

I am finally getting back to running after a tough ankle injury 4 years ago that put me out of commission. I set a goal of 2:40 for the half Marathon and completed it in 2:32.46! I was so happy. I know I have a long way to go to get to where I want to be but Akron put a smile on my face none-the-less. Now, I am off to Washington DC to Walk 60 miles in the Susan G Koman Walk for a Cure. I cannot wait! But my feet sure can!

AKron Half Marathon

All-comers sprint track meet (100m hurdles, 100m dash, 200m, 4 x 100m relay, maybe 400m) is for all ages and the price is $2 for all events. If you are running the 5k or walking the mile, the fee for the track races is free.

All-Comers sprint meet $2 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.

Donis Toler 5k and mile walk $10 9:30 Starts and finishes on the track! Age Group Awards will be given for the 5k run.

Please pass along the information to all runners, walkers, and sprinters! The application is attached!
